The film is being produced by Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder, and Akshay Kumar under the banner of Three's Company and Hari Om Entertainment. The film was shot in 3D using 3D cameras, however in June 2012, it was announced that the film was no longer in 3D anymore, since Ra.One and Don 2 have taken the goals, if Joker flopped it would be a loss on the whole crew, therefore the film will only be released in 2D format. According to director, Shirish Kunder, "It is an underdog story about how individuals make it big in life and in the process, get help from aliens from a fictional planet". Shreyas Talpade will play Akshay's brother in the film. Female lead opposite to Shreyas will be played by Minisha Lamba, who will enact the role of an innocent TV reporter. Sonakshi will also perform an item number in the film. American actor Alexx ONell was also signed to play a role in the film. On Twitter, Sonakshi Sinha, the leading actress revealed the reason for the confusing title- Joker. She wrote on Twitter: “JOKER refers to a place that does not exist on the global map. Just like #Joker in a pack of cards that does not belong to any colour.”

Critical reception

Post-release, the critical response to the film was mixed. Mihir Fadnavis rated 1.5/5 saying "A film of unremitting idiocy disguised as an upmarket big budget action movie, Ek Tha Tiger is about as reprehensible as masala comes, even in our decreasingly intellectual times. Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama rated the film 4.5 stars out of 5 and termed the film as a "high octane" thriller that "works big time", having "style and substance, both, besides dazzling action, stunning international locales and stylish execution." He refers to Salman Khan as the "trump card of this enterprise.
Gaurav Malani of Times of India praised the film saying "Director Kabir Khan commendably balances the love story and the spy drama, with each element taking precedence at different junctures in the film as per the requirement.Chopra's story is credibly crafted into a riveting screenplay by Neelesh Misra and Kabir Khan. Salman Khan carries an urbane charm and looks uber-cool dressed in formals. He is resourcefully restrained sans his customary buffoonery. His acting ability is best exploited in this film after a long long time.Ek Tha Tiger, by far, is Salman Khan's most entertaining and accomplished works in recent times. Guha of DNA rated the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and stated Ek Tha Tiger is probably Hindi cinema’s best action film yet. "Ek Tha Tiger, at the end of the day, is an out-and-out Salman Khan film. But it's the rare well-made one. It's escapist, but it has style. Go watch. NDTV rated the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, praising the screenplay and romance and commenting, "Ek Tha Tiger isn’t what one whould rate as great cinema, but it isn’t just harmless fun. Iit distances itself appreciably from the established norms of the action-packed Salman Khan movies, [and] makes enough sense for the most part to blow away the air of scepticism.
Gayatri Sankar of Zee News said "‘Ek Tha Tiger’ looked very promising prior to its release and the film does entertain you to an extent but also compels you to wonder if you truly want to ridicule your intelligence.Kunal Guha of Yahoo movies gave movie 1 out of 5 stars and said"If you thought Agent Vinod made a Ronald McDonald out of the genre, Ek Tha Tiger takes a mousey tail and sticks it up his nose for Salman to swing from ear to ear. Rohit Vats of CNN-IBN in his tweet review rated it 2 out of 5 and said "Ek tha tiger is especially meant for the audiences who made 'Bodyguard' & 'Ready' hits.

Critics Ratings:-4/5
Cast: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chaddha, Huma Qureshi, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Piyush Mishra, Rajkumar Gupta, Zeishan Quadri, Reemma Sen

Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
Viewers Ratings:- 4/5

Gangs of Wasseypur Part 2 is an Indian crime film co-written, produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap. It is the second instalment of the Gangs of Wasseypur series centered around Power Struggles, Politics and Vengeance among three crime families. Part two features an ensemble cast with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chadda, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Pankaj Tripathi, Raj Kumar Yadav, Huma Qureshi and Zeishan Quadri in the major roles and its story spans from the 1990s to 2009.
The sequels were originally shot as a single film measuring a total of 318 minutes and screened at the 2012 Cannes Directors' Fortnight but since no Indian theatre would volunteer to screen a five plus hour movie, it was divided into two parts (159 mins and 158 mins respectively) for the Indian Market.
The film received an Adults Only certification from the Indian Censor Board but is still unusually explicit for Indian standards as it contained authentic lingo and violence generally suppressed by Mainstream Indian movies. The films soundtrack is heavily influenced by traditional Indian folk songs tending to be philosophical and liberal with its heavy use of sexual innuendos.
Part two was released on Aug 08, 2012 across India. Gangs of Wasseypur 2 had some paid previews on August 7,2012.

Plot

Picking up from the the first part, Danish Khan murders the captured gunman involved in his father's assassination, Sardar Khan. After Fazlu's gruesome murder, Faizal takes over as the new head of the crime syndicate. With the help of an ambitious but fraudulent small time businessman, Shamshad Alam, he attempts to expand his business interests.

Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 2 received mostly positive reviews. It is rated 7/10 on the Hindi film review aggregator website ReviewGang. Jaykumar Shah of Planet Bollywood gave the movie 8.5/10 stars, saying that "All in all, this is the best movie to come out from India this year so far. It is gritty, well-paced, extremely well-acted, genre defining, path breaking work of art. The movie is not for the ones who are not comfortable with violence being depicted graphically. If you can digest violence on screen, it is a sure winner. Mayank Shekhar of Daily Bhaskar gave the movie 4/5 stars, concluding that "A 520-minute mini-series format allows the filmmaker the scope to indulge. He’s clearly mastered the pop-corn art of sensational killings and colourful dialogue. The reason you prefer the second part of this film over the first is because this is where the beginning ties up with the end. You get a sense of the sheer scale of this film’s ambition
